Introduction
Every four years Americans gather around the country to elect their president. Many consider this to be the ultimate act of democracy, citizens voting fairly for the person that will lead their nation. However, the American system of voting has some major flaws in it. In fact, Russia’s presidential elections are more directly democratic than our own. This would seem to indicate a problem with our system. This site allows you to explore how we elect the president in America, how the elections are flawed, and what can be done about it.
