What is wrong with the system?
There are several problems with the current system we use to elect our president. Every election we hold in this country has it’s own share of problems, but the biggest ones are caused by the Electoral College. We saw a huge example of this in the 2000 election between George W. Bush and Al Gore, when Gore won the popular vote but Bush won the Electoral College vote, and the presidency. This section goes into more detail on these problems.
